Looks That Could (Almost) Kill
As I laid eyes on the 2015 Traverse, I couldn’t help but chuckle at its design. The front grille looked like it was channeling its inner constipated owl, while the rear end seemed to be auditioning for a role in a sci-fi flick. But hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right? With its sleek lines and sturdy stance, the Traverse was ready to take on the suburban jungle – and maybe a little intergalactic adventure on the side.

Interior – A Haven for Snack Stashes
Sliding into the cabin, I was greeted by a sea of buttons and knobs, reminiscent of a spaceship’s control panel. And speaking of space, the interior was roomier than a clown car at a circus. The second-row captain’s chairs were like thrones for mini monarchs, and the third row – well, let’s just say that if you needed to do a disappearing act, that’s where you’d go. But the real MVP of the interior? The numerous cubbies and storage compartments. It’s like Chevrolet knew that parents everywhere would need secret spots to stash their emergency chocolate stash and juice boxes.

Tech Time Travel
The infotainment system in the 2015 Traverse was like a time capsule of tech trends. The touchscreen was a little like teaching your grandma to text – you had to be patient and maybe give it a little tap on the back when it froze. The navigation system was essentially a glorified game of “Where’s Waldo?” – you might find your destination, or you might accidentally summon an alien mothership. But hey, it all added to the charm, right? And let’s not forget the rear-seat entertainment system. It was like having a personal theater, complete with DVDs that were probably older than some of the kids riding in the back.

The Drive – Like a Couch on Wheels
Buckle up, because the driving experience was as smooth as a buttered penguin sliding down an icy hill. The 3.6-liter V6 engine had enough oomph to get you from zero to “I forgot my kid’s soccer practice” in no time. The handling, however, was a bit like trying to maneuver a cruise ship through a kiddie pool – you might make it, but there will be a lot of splashing and squealing. And speaking of squealing, the brakes had a tendency to remind you that physics was a thing.

Gas Mileage – Because Who Needs Savings?
Let’s talk about fuel efficiency. Or should I say, the lack thereof? The 2015 Traverse could drain a gas tank faster than a toddler can spill juice on a white carpet. It was like the car had a personal vendetta against the ozone layer. But hey, if you wanted to spend more quality time at gas stations, this was the vehicle for you.

Safety First, Fun…Eventually
Safety was clearly a priority in the Traverse, as long as you didn’t mind a little delay. The rearview camera, for instance, took its sweet time to display what was behind you – perfect for those who enjoyed a suspenseful twist in their daily commute. The airbags were like party favors at a surprise party – they popped out when you least expected it, and you’d be left wondering if they were really necessary.
