Used 2012 MINI Cooper Countryman AWD 4dr S ALL4 Review

This is a 2012 Mini Cooper. We’re gonna show you how fun this thing is to drive right now. Welcome to Cruise Control. My name is Eric, and we’re gonna start looking at some new cars and used cars to find out what’s the best option for you. Let’s see what’s up next.

All right, so we are back in the 2012 Mini Cooper and my first impression of this vehicle is this is just so much fun to drive around town, no longer getting groceries. Are they boring? This thing makes everyday driving an adventure just like the Jeep where it was fun off-road. This thing’s fun on-road and I can definitely see why someone, ’em could buy one of these, but let’s spoil a few things.

They get like 28 miles to the gallon, so they get good fuel economy on the highway. They get over 30. If anybody wants to know the horsepower and torque numbers, they’re right here. This thing’s just a lot of fun. Is this the most? Car in a segment. Absolutely not. But the model that I’m in, it’s all the all four, and that means it’s gonna have all-wheel drive.

The seats for me, they’re a little bit too small and. I have daily drivability, but the view is pretty good through here. Uh, the way it corners is fantastic, as you’re gonna see here in a little bit when we go through some twisty little roads. It’s practical. You can fit anything that you need inside here, small enough to drive around inside the city.

It’s just a fun little car. All right, so we are back now. This is the fun part. We have it set up where I can shift it on myself, as you can tell. That just shifted in the second gear. We’re gonna go around some corners right now. We’re gonna show you why this car, no matter if you’re getting groceries, you find a nice little back road like I just did.

How fun this thing can be. Let’s go for it.

That big is nice. Got a lot of gets. About to tackle our first corner. Let’s see how she handles it. This thing’s laughing at it. Oh, wow. Beautiful. I love how this thing goes around the corner. This is why you would buy this car. Of course, the looks, the mini offers, look unlike anything else in its class.

So this thing is a whole lot of fun to drive and look, we’re gonna go through here. It’s gonna handle these corners like nothing. This is why you get this vehicle because you want to be able to go through the local back road. You wanna be able to go through, get your groceries, not be bored all the time.

The only thing that I wish this many had was a manual transmission. Nothing against the automatic, it’s just I. More fun if I got to shift the gears myself. But the owners, love the automatic because you can put it in to shift, which I did. I shifted it a couple of times. Oh man, look at that. Go through.

That is so good. The all-wheel-drive system that’s on here. Oh, the cornering, the handling capability.

So why do you buy one of these… fun? Because this thing makes normal driving not boring. …but the reason why you buy something like this is because it speaks to you via its style. All the fun little things that are on the inside, the ambient lighting, the cool gauges, the fact that the, uh, speedometer goes like this in the middle of the dash, that’s just really cool.

Nobody else does. It’s got the dual panoramic sunroofs. It’s got all these fun things that are just part of it. It’s all-wheel drive, so it’s gonna be great. Here in Colorado, it’s turbocharged, so it’s gonna be a whole lot of fun. It’s beautiful to look at. I especially love this green color, and that’s why you buy a mini.
